Albe On The Way
Jack Curry is reporting the Yankees will recall Albe from AAA when they DL Pettitte.
Albe is an interesting pitcher. Throughout his career he has gotten worse the more pitches he has thrown. In Scranton he has essentially been a one inning guy and the results have been impressive. 46 innings 61 K's and an ERA of 0.96
Will it translate to the bigs? Good question, but I hope the Yankees start trying him for one inning at a shot. Maybe he can be a factor down the stretch.

Albe in the bullpen and Miranda at DH. Ahhhh, fresh names. Here's hoping ...

Chan Ho Park has become what Jeff Weaver (remember him?) was for me: an excuse to start flipping channels to see if there's something else to watch other than the train wreck that I know is coming.
There has to be someone we can go to instead of Park ... just has to be.

Mitchell-
Neither one of us bought the Chan Ho "hype". But if you had to bet, does he get the heave ho when they activate Mitre, or is it Gaudin? It can't be Albe back to Scranton, can it?

Peter - If I had to bet? Park would be DFA'd. Gaudin seems (sometimes) like he has something to offer; Albe is throwing too well.

I hope you are right, but I am worried that they might send Albe back.
