Moves Coming
Bruney has a "cranky elbow" according to Joe Girardi and wasn't even in Fenway tonight. Cody Ransom is probably out for "awhile" with a quad problem. Wang is going on the DL and Robertson is being called up.
The Wang move is obviously temporary, Phil Hughes is most likely going to get the start on Tuesday. Bruney's elbow is a HUGE concern because he has become a great option in the 8th. On the plus side, Albie looks pretty good right now.
Ransom's injury is interesting. If they have to make a roster move who comes in to play third? I have already voted for Eric Duncan, but that would require a 40-man move. They could add Juan Miranda and have Pena play third, but that wouldn't leave any depth at middle infield.
So, expect a bevy of moves tomorrow.

Bruney's elbow probs are big probs as the guy has been great in the 8th. Bad, bad, bad.
Wang? At least his move to the DL makes room for Hughes. Last night's game convinced me that Joba has decent stuff, struggles as a starter and should be the 8th inning guy as soon as Wang recovers - or sooner if Albie falls apart now that Bruney is questionable. Knowing Cash as little as I do (not at all, that is), we'll prob see Melancon sooner rather than later in the 8th inning role instead of Joba.
Ransom? His days as a liability at the plate are over now - got to be Berroa in his stead, no? Alex, oh Alex, wherefor art thou?
How they juggle the 40 man roster at this point is beyond me unless that can 60 day Nady.

I don't think they will 60-day Nady because he is supposedly back in 4-6 weeks. I think they could put Ransom on the 60-day to clear a roster spot or they will put Cervelli or Claggett through waivers and take them off the 40-man. I don't think they add Berroa because he has really never played third, but I have no clue who comes up at this point.
