This team has got to be the most expesnive .500 ballclub in the history of the game.
Cashman has got to know that his time is running short as a Steinbrenner employee.

Also, Humberto Sanchez has begun throwing batting practice, so it looks like his clock has officially started. If he returns to the form he had pre-surgery, what a huge addition he could be in 08 or 09.
All the talk about Cashman and Hankenstein discussing an extension is great news. If Cashman stays, then I think the likelihood of Hank blowing up and trading young studs for Jamie Moyer decreases somewhat.
